La visita alla chiesa dei Santi Pietro e Paolo sita in via Bentivegna a Palermo
\u00e8 stata organizzata dal Club di Territorio di Palermo del Touring Club Italiano.
La chiesa ha tre navate divise da colonne e coperte da volte a crociera ed \u00e8 decorata in stile neogotico.
Il progetto della chiesa \u00e8 di Domenico Marvuglio ed \u00e8 stata realizzata tra il 1865 ed il 1880 come cappella del monastero benedettino, non pi\u00f9 esistente, la cui area \u00e8 ora occupata da una centrale TELECOM (tra via Bentivegna e via Villermosa).
Alle pareti opere di Giuseppe La Manna che si dedic\u00f2 prevalentemente al mosaico anche come valido restauratore realizzando anche dipinti con un procedimento musivo a smalto filato.
La famiglia Ficola ha donato recentemente due grandi quadri di fine Ottocento raffiguranti i Santi Pietro e Paolo.
